Francisco Comesana vs Andrea Pellegrino prediction
The powerful serve of Francisco Comesana saw the Argentine setup what appeared to be a comfortable win against Pedro Martinez in the first round before the Spaniard fought back and took it to a tiebreak in the deciding set. Comesana came through that and will hope to replicate that first set more regularly this week.
Andrea Pellegrino qualified for the first round in Santiago with qualification victories against Nicolas Villalon and then Daniel Elahi Galan. The Italian put in some emphatic performances with the serve against fellow qualifier Alex Barrena to win 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 in the first set.
Power will be key here but, with a need to get back to winning ways, Comesana will see a massive opportunity here and should progress – but Pellegrino may fancy himself to defend his service.
Francisco Comesana vs Andrea Pellegrino tip: Francisco Comesana 2-1 Andrea Pellegrino & under 27.5 games
