Francisco Cerundolo held his nerve in the big moments to end the evergreen Adrian Mannarino’s latest run. 

The Argentine edged a tight encounter 7-6 7-6 and will now meet Zizou Bergs for the first ever time. 

Bergs backed up a super win over Sebastian Korda with an even better one over Nitto ATP finals-chasing Casper Ruud.

The Belgian bit back to lead 3-6 7-5 4-1 when the Norwegian 11th seed retired with a wrist problem. 

In terms of this third roound tussle, it is a tough call. Both players are inconsistent, producing stirring unexpected wins and then falling in matches that look and seem certain to be on their racquet. 

Bergs has found some semblance of form in recent weeks while Cerundolo should have the initiative with that ferocious plus-one forehand.

We lean towards Cerundolo but it may be worth watching part of the opening set to see how it's developing before parting with your cash on this one.
