Francisco Cerundolo vs Yannick Hanfmann prediction

Francisco Cerundolo won the Argentina Open in mid-February with an excellent and emphatic run of victories before he then suffered a round of 16 loss to Thiago Agustin Tirante at the Rio Open. In this tournament thus far, Cerundolo has hammered both Elmer Moller and Emilio Nava.

Yannick Hanfmann has been in supreme form throughout this tournament. The German enjoyed a 6-0, 6-3 hammering of Dusan Lajovic in the first round before a 6-4, 6-3 win against Camilo Ugo Carabelli in the second round. Hanfmann had a test against Vilius Gaubas, having to come from a set down, but eventually eased to a comfortable win.

Hanfmann is a stern test for Cerundolo with the German playing with a lot of power and finesse at the moment. Cerundolo remains slight favourite but it should be a close contest.
