Francisco Cerundolo vs Vit Kopriva prediction

Francisco Cerundolo advanced to the quarter-final stage of the Argentina Open after a win over Hugo Dellien. Cerundolo, who reached the final of the event last year, made an absolutely storming start as he won the first set without dropping a service game. The second set was far more competitive, as the Argentine dug deep to save eight set points in total to win 6-0 7-6 (8) after one hour and 24 minutes.

He takes on Vit Kopriva next. The Czech is through to his first quarter-final of the season after beating former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini in straight sets. It was a largely comfortable match for Kopriva, as he wasn’t broken on serve and broke towards the end of both sets to win 6-4 6-3.

Cerundolo is viewed as one of the favourites for the title and will be expected to come through with the victory, but Kopriva can be a threat on clay.
