Francisco Cerundolo advanced to his second grass court final as he recovered from going a set and a break down to beat Brandon Nakashima. Cerundolo, who also required a deciding set to beat British wildcard Arthur Fery in the previous round, improved as the match wore on against the American and went on to win 6-7 (5) 6-3 6-4.
He will face 2024 champion Tommy Paul. The former world number eight extended his winning run at the event to nine matches as he comfortably got past Ugo Humbert in straight sets. Paul has not dropped a set across his four matches this week and will now be seeking a second title at Queen’s Club.
