Francisco Cerundolo vs Miomir Kecmanovic prediction

Francisco Cerundolo made it into the second-round of the Paris Masters after getting past Damir Dzumhur in straight sets. The Argentine consistently created opportunities for himself as he won 6-3 6-3 after just an hour and 16 minutes.  He has not won back-to-back matches at an event since he got through to the round-of-16 in Toronto over two months ago.

Miomir Kecmanovic is his next opponent. He beat Aleksandar Kovacevic for the third time this season to set up a meeting with Cerundolo. The Serb took the first set, but his level dropped in the second as Kovacevic dominated and levelled the match up. Kecmanovic would win the match in a deciding set tiebreak, with the score being 6-4 1-6 7-6 (2).

Cerundolo leads the ATP head-to-head 1-0 after a win in Rio three years ago, but this is their first encounter against each other in some time and their first away from clay. Kecmanovic did show some deficiencies in the second set of his previous match, which Cerundolo will hope to exploit, while the Argentine is also ranked over 30 places higher in the rankings. He starts this one as the favourite.
