Frances Tiafoe vs Felix Auger Aliassime prediction

Frances Tiafoe made it back-to-back quarter-finals on grass after overcoming Sho Shimabukuro in straight sets. The American comfortably led after the first set and recovered from a deficit of 4-2 in the second to win 6-4 7-5 after one hour and 28 minutes. He had beaten Roland Garros finalist Flavio Cobolli in his opening match. 

He will now face top seed Felix Auger Aliassime for a place in the semi-finals. The Canadian was taken to a third set once again but mounted a comeback to win against Learner Tien. Auger Aliassime won 88% of his first serve points and powered down 22 aces as he won 6-7 (5) 7-5 7-6 (5) after two hours and 31 minutes.

Auger Aliassime leads the head-to-head 3-0, but they have not faced each other since 2022, and this is their first match on grass. If the world number four produces a similar display on serve, Tiafoe will be limited in terms of opportunities.
