THE PREDICTION
Lewis Hamilton equalled Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 Grand Prix victories with success at the Eifel GP last time out and the Brit will have his sights set on claiming that record outright as he starts on pole position in Portugal. He leads Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas on the grid and the pair look set for another strong weekend with their car outstripping their opponents by a comfortable margin in qualifying. Mechanical issues aside, the Mercedes duo look set to run clear of the field here and should finish 1-2 in the order they start on the grid.
