The surprise departure of Vladimir Petkovic to Bordeaux in Ligue 1 following UEFA Euro 2020 led to the even more surprising appointment of Murat Yakin. Yakin’s Switzerland come into this having faced off against Italy in a battle for top spot in their five-team group. The Swiss are a much better side than Bulgaria with much better players. The Bulgarians earned a goalless draw with European champions Italy in September but the visitors remain poor. This should be a relatively comfortable Switzerland victory for this one.
