THE PREDICTION

Everton have suffered a difficult start to their campaign, losing their opening two games and conceding eight goals in the process. However, those matches were against last season’s top two in Chelsea and Man City, whereas here they face a far more winnable assignment at home to Birmingham. Like the Toffees, Birmingham have been beaten in their first two WSL matches of the season and could struggle once again here against an Everton squad that has been subject to substantial investment this summer. With home advantage in their favour, Everton have to be favoured for the three points here.
