THE PREDICTION
Two wins have been swiftly followed by two losses, making it an inconsistent start to this 2021-22 WSL for Brighton and they’ll have to be at their very best here against Tottenham, who are one of just two sides who maintain a 100% record in the league so far. The foundations have been built upon an excellent defence for Spurs, who have conceded just a single goal across their four league games so far. However, in Brighton they face a team who have already found the net eight times and with home advantage in their favour, will pose an extremely difficult challenge for Tottenham. On the flip side though, this could well leave the hosts open to the counter attack and it would be no surprise to see an entertaining contest between these two sides with plenty of goalmouth action at both sides. With that in mind, backing both teams to score here may well turn out to be the smart play.
