THE PREDICTION
Chelsea made history at the weekend after overcoming Bayern Munich to book their place in the Champions League final for the first time in their history. However, they must now concentrate fully on WSL action and specifically this match, with defeat vs Tottenham putting the title in Man City’s hands going into the final weekend of the season. Emma Hayes’ side have won six of their last seven WSL games, with the most recent of those fixtures a hard fought 2-2 draw with Man City. Most impressive has been their accumulation of goals, having scored 23 times over that seven match period. Such firepower should prove too strong for Tottenham, who are winless in their last nine WSL fixtures with their defence conceding ten goals over the course of their most recent three league games. With so much at stake for the Blues, any complacency will be left in the dressing room and Chelsea are expected to comfortably triumph here by at least two clear goals.
