THE PREDICTION
Both Birmingham and Reading head into this one in terrible recent form, with the former now in serious danger of relegation if they cannot put any wins together between now and the end of the season. Reading have failed to win in their last five WSL matches, whilst Birmingham’s defence are in a sorry state having shipped a whopping 21 goals in their most recent six league fixtures, with the Blues having gone 11 WSL games without victory. Birmingham have no choice but to go out on the attack here in a bid to get three points, however that will leave their backline exposed and the hosts aren’t expected to be strong enough defensively to keep Reading out over the course of 90 minutes. So regardless of who ultimately comes out on top in this match, both teams to score looks very much the smart play.
