THE PREDICTION
The nerves will no doubt jangling in the West Midlands as Birmingham and Aston Villa prepare to lock horns in the ‘Second City Derby’. The reverse fixture between the two sides saw Birmingham come out on top by a single goal and a similarly close encounter is on the cards here. Only a point separates the two teams in the WSL, with Villa able to leapfrog Blues with three points here. As you’d expect in a derby that means so much to players and fans alike, both sides are expected to approach the contest with caution and the aim not to give the game away by committing bodies forward at will.
