PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Denmark: Christensen; Sevecke, Ballisager-Pedersen, Veje; Thomsen, Troelsgaard, Junge-Pedersen, Svava; Harder, Bruun, Madsen

Finland: Korpela; Hyyrynen, Westerlund, Pikkujamsa, Koivisto; Engman, Summanen, Alanen, Oling; Sallstrom, Franssi

THE PREDICTION

Denmark head into this must-win contest smarting following their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Germany last time out and a strong response is expected against Finland, who were in dreamland after taking the lead over highly-fancied Spain in their first Group B fixture, although ultimately ended up losing by four goals to one. Although confidence may have taken a hit in the Danish camp following that German thrashing, Finland represents an opponent with significantly less quality than that of Germany across the pitch and Denmark should dominate proceedings. It would be no surprise to see Lars Sondergaard’s side bounce back here at Stadium MK, so back Denmark to come out victorious in this one.
