THE PREDICTION

Austria and Norway face off here with the winner qualifying for the knockout stage and the loser eliminated from the competition. However, after being demolished 8-0 by England the pressure is on Norway as they would go out should this contest finish in a draw. With that in mind, they have no choice but to push bodies forward whenever possible even if it means they could be exposed on the counter-attack. It’s hard to see Austria being able to hold out against an Ada Hegerberg led Norwegian offence, but it would be no surprise if they were to create chances of their own when taking into account the defensive frailties of their opponents. Therefore, consider backing both teams to score in this encounter.
