RANGERS VS STANDARD LIEGE PREDICTION

Standard Liege’s late 2-1 victory over Lech Poznan last week gave them the slimmest chance of qualification to the latter stages of the Europa League but to do that they must win their final two games against Rangers and Benfica and also hope other results go their way. That seems highly unlikely and their hope is likely to be snuffed out here by this relentless Rangers side, whose unbeaten run now stands at 22 games in all competitions. The Scottish side are battling for top spot in Group D with Benfica at the moment and will be frustrated at having thrown away two-goal leads against the Portuguese side on both the last two matchdays. Manager Steven Gerrard will not want to see further complacency here so expect his side to pick up another three points and secure qualification to the round of 32.
