The home team come into this on the back of a 2-2 draw away to 1899 Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga at the weekend. That saw Taiwo Awoniyi notch another goal for Union Berlin following a permanent move from Liverpool in the summer. Awoniyi a first-half brace in Finland last week as they won 4-0 against Kuopion Palloseura.
