THE PREDICTION

We had a major shock in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final as Olympiakos went to Birmingham and defeated Aston Villa by four goals to two at Villa Park. Jose Luis Mendilibar, who won the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla last season, has pulled off some major results in this competition already after thrlling, fairly ridiculous victories against Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Fenerbahce in the previous rounds. In fact, the Greek side have had 24 goals come in their five knockout matches. That will give Villa hope, albeit Unai Emery’s side did look really tired as Brighton defeated them by a goal to nil in the Premier League at the weekend. A high-scoring encounter in which the visitors come out on top would appear a good bet.

TIP: ASTON VILLA TO WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS
