Randers come into this on the back of a fairly chastening 2-0 defeat at home to Copenhagen at the weekend. The hosts are now winless in their last five matches in all competitions after three successive defeats at the end of August and then after the international break. They now come up against an AZ Alkmaar side that were hammered 3-0 at home to PSV Eindhoven at the weekend. The visitors were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League by Celtic in the playoffs and, despite their defeat at home to PSV, they will come into this fully expecting to defeat Randers.
