With both Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the same group as these two sides, this represents a very important clash between Dinamo Kyiv and Benfica. Despite being reduced to ten-men in their Champions League play-off second leg away at PSV, Benfica hung on to a 0-0 draw which secured their place in the Group Stage via a 2-1 victory on aggregate and Jorge Jesus’ men will need to be in similarly good form defensively here. Whilst the onus will be on Dinamo Kyiv to take the game to the visitors, they cannot allow themselves to be hit on the counter attack and may have to remain patient in this one, somewhat tempering their aggression going forward.
