Zenit have started the season in their usually dominant fashion in Russia on home turf having won all five games and scoring 18 goals. Their record in the Champions League is somewhat lop-sided towards home form also as they have won six of their last eight at home and it is a notoriously difficult place to visit. That does not bode well for this Club Brugge side who have struggled in Europe’s premier tournament. They have only won one of their last 20 matches in the competition but they have started the Belgian league in fine form. They will need to overcome any psychological issues if they are to get anything here but Zenit should ultimately have too much quality for them. Home win.
