MAN CITY VS MARSEILLE PREDICTION

Having already secured top spot in Group C, Pep Guardiola is expecting to ring the changes for Man City on Matchday 6 ahead of the weekend’s Manchester Derby in the Premier League. However, despite the likes of Kevin De Bruyne expected to be given a rest in this match, the strength in depth of Man City means that they will still be able to field a side expected to comfortably dispatch Marseille, who currently sit bottom of Group C. This is an important match for the French side, who are level on points with Olympiakos and could overtake them with a positive result here, securing a UEFA Europa League knockout stage birth. Ultimately though, despite such a carrot being dangled over Andre Villas-Boas’ men, it is still very hard to see any outcome other than a Man City victory play out here.
