FC PORTO VS MARSEILLE PREDICTION

Porto bounced back strongly from defeat away at Man City in their opening group stage match, with a 2-0 home win over Olympiakos on Matchday 2. However, the Portuguese champions suffered a shock at the weekend, losing 3-2 to Pacos de Ferreira in the Primeira Liga and will be under pressure to bounce back here. This is a must win game for Sergio Conceicao’s side against Marseille, who have lost both their opening group stage games and sit bottom of Group C. The French side will be forced to attack here, with the game already verging on must win territory for them if they wish to keep alive their hopes of qualification for the knockout stage. This may play into the hands of Porto, who should take advantage of the inevitable holes left in the Marseille defence. Expect the home side to win this, although it would not be a surprise if Marseille did find the net at some point in the match.
