BORUSSIA DORTMUND VS MAN CITY PREDICTION

Whilst a late goal from Phil Foden saw Man City triumph 2-1 in their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Borussia Dortmund, an away goal for the Bundesliga outfit keeps them well in contention heading into the second leg and with star striker Erling Haaland within their ranks, Dortmund certainly have the firepower to overturn such a small deficit. Man City come into this match off the back of a 1-2 defeat vs Leeds Utd in the Premier League, however manager Pep Guardiola rested a number of key players who will all be fully fit and raring to go in this one. Matches involving BVB are usually entertaining affairs with their fragile defence often letting down their potent attack. Both teams have found the net in six of Dortmund’s last seven games in all competitions with over 2.5 goals also scored in those six matches. When taking into account the sheer all-round quality of the Premier League leaders, Man City will be expected to do enough to see them qualify for the semi-finals, even if they do not win this second-leg outright. However, the hosts should at least find the net over the course of 90 minutes in this match and both teams to score has to be favoured.
