ATLETICO MADRID VS LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW PREDICTION

Atletico sit second in Group A on four points, but Lokomotiv Moscow would overtake them if they were to pull off a surprise victory here in Spain. Diego Simeone’s men have endured a difficult UEFA Champions League campaign thus far, having conceded seven goals in their first three group games as their usual defensive solidity averted them. If that doesn’t change here then the visitors stand a real chance of a positive result. The two-week international break however, looks to have done the Atletico the world of good, with ‘Los Rojiblancos’ defeating Barcelona 1-0 in La Liga this past Saturday and the hosts are expected to ride that wave of momentum into this encounter, picking up another victory and just as importantly another clean sheet to give them some vital breathing space in the top two of Group A.
