THE PREDICTION
Third placed Fenerbahce have failed to take advantage of slip ups from both Alanyaspor and Galatasaray at the weekend, after suffering defeat themselves against Gaziantep. This is not an isolated incident however, with four losses from their last six league games including defeat to city rivals Besiktas. Head coach Erol Bulut is facing loud shouts for him to leave his post and failure to beat another city rival here in Istanbul Basaksehir would more than likely spell the end for Bulut. The visitors have failed to win in their last four league games and whilst their defence has proven a weak spot this season, they have scored in each of their last eight Turkish Super Lig fixtures. Fenerbahce may prove too strong for Istanbul Basaksehir over the 90 minutes, however the visitors will be expected to at least find the net in this one.
