THE PREDICTION
Galatasaray currently sit top of the Turkish Super Lig by the slimmest of margins with themselves, Besiktas and Fenerbahce all on 51 points. However, Gala’s superior goal difference sees them top the pile and they’ll be hoping to extend their run of six straight league victories against Alanyaspor. These two sides have previous, as Alanyaspor were the side to knock Galatasaray out of the Turkish Cup only ten days ago. With that fresh in their minds, the hosts won’t fear the league leaders here, having not lost in their last eight matches in all competitions. This should lead to an exciting battle, with the visitors expected to take some risks offensively in an attempt to secure the three points, but Alanyaspor have the attacking verve to punish any space left in behind by Fatih Terim’s side. Whilst the result itself could go either way, both teams should at least find the net for what would be the tenth time in the hosts’ last 11 games in all competitions.
