St. Gallen have opened the new campaign with a pair of 1-0 victories against Sion and Vaduz and are consequently the only team to have won each of their opening two matches of the 2020-21 Swiss Super League. The hosts have responded positively after seeing their challenge fade at the business end of last season and they will carry plenty of confidence into this game. Servette bounced back from an opening round defeat against newly-promoted Lausanne Sport with a 1-0 victory against Basel last time out - it has to be mentioned though Basel were reduced to ten-men after 30 minutes of that contest and Servette only managed to score the winning goal via the penalty spot.
