THE PREDICTION
Basel are enjoying an excellent run of form right now having won four of their last five games to close the gap on Young Boys at the top of the table and they now have a chance to replace the leaders at the summit in this crucial midweek encounter. The visitors lost their first league game of the campaign on Sunday when they fell to a 1-2 defeat to Servette which can partly be blamed on fatigue following their Europa League exertions. Gerardo Seoane Castro will have his men fired up for this one though and it should be a highly competitive affair with many of their previous meetings in recent memory being decided by fine margins.
