THE PREDICTION

The home team come into this on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat away to AIK last weekend, in their most recent outing. Goteborg have now suffered three successive defeats and they are winless in their last four matches. The hosts begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom-half after starting the campaign with three straight wins. They now come up against a Varberg side that come into this on the back of back-to-back defeats, making it three losses in their last four matches as they hover above the bottom three. Despite their recent poor form, Goteborg will be expected to get back on track with a victory here, especially with home advantage.
