THE PREDICTION
After challenging for the title last season, AIK will, once again, be expected to be towards the top of the Allsvenskan this time around. They come into this on the back of a comfortable 2-0 win away to GIF Sundsvall last weekend. That was their third successive victory without conceding. They now come up against a Goteborg side that have begun their 2022 campaign with back-to-back defeats and a draw in their last three matches. The visitors sit in the middle-of-the-table ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. AIK, especially with home advantage, will come into this one as the relatively comfortable favourites.
