Sporting Gijon come into this on the back of of back-to-back draws against Real Zaragoza and Leganes that have continued poor form that has seen them fall into a playoff battle. They haven’t scored in four matches and have scored just two in their last seven matches. They come up against a Lugo side that are horrendous form and have been since January after falling from a mid-table position firmly into the relegation battle.
