Malaga’s back-to-back defeats mean they are winless in three after a positive early-Spring run of form. Those defeats have pretty much ensured they will finish firmly in mid-table after a glimmer of hope for a late playoff push had arisen. They come up against a Real Mallorca side that are creeping towards promotion but a lack of consistency since February has punished the Balearic Islanders; they remain in a strong position following a 2-1 win over Mirandes.
