Girona are coming off their best result of the season as they beat leaders Espanyol away from home at the weekend so confidence will be sky high as they welcome Malaga to Catalunya. The visitors have found it difficult against the top sides having lost to Mallorca, Espanyol and Leganes in recent weeks. Defensively they continue to struggle and while scoring goals is not a problem, they are shipping them at the back. Both teams have scored in six of their last eight matches and that trend could easily continue here but Girona have to be favoured to take all three points.
