Espanyol have shown no hangover from last season’s relegation as they have hit the ground running this season taking ten points from their four games and have yet to concede a goal. Their win last time out against Sabadell was hard work as they had to grind that victory out with a late winner but they are so solid defensively that they do not look like losing. They have lost key midfielder Mark Roca to Bayern but he has not played the last two matches anyway and they will still have enough quality to do well without him. They welcome Alcorcon here and it has not been an easy start for the visitors. They have failed to score in three of their opening four games.
