THE PREDICTION
Cartagena’s 2-0 defeat away to Las Palmas last weekend halted a run of three without defeat but they remain in relegation trouble. Their fairly average home form has contributed to that relegation threat; six defeats in 13 matches and just one home win since October. Leganes’ push for promotion continued with a 1-0 home win over Tenerife last week. That was their fifth straight league victory. A concern for their long-term promotion hopes would be their away form; they have won just a quarter of their away matches this season. Given that record, and the gambler’s fallacy that they’re due a poor result, a result is very close to call. However, under 2.5 goals seems likely.
