Alcorcon come into this on the back of a 3-1 victory over the hapless Lugo who haven’t won since mid-to-late January. Alcorcon’s victory means it is back-to-back wins for the relegation battlers after their 2-1 win over Castellon the week before. They remain in the battle but have given themselves a huge chance of survival. They come up against a Leganes side that have drifted from automatic promotion contention and will now, more than likely, have to settle for a playoff spot.
