After a turbulent summer in which Rayo Vallecano lost their manager Andoni Iraola as well as some key players like Alejandro Catena, Fran Garcia and Santi Comesana. Osasuna come into this one on the back of suffering their third defeat in their last four La Liga matches. The Pamplona-based club were beaten 1-0 by European chasing Valencia in their most recent outing last week with Ante Budimir missing a penalty in a fairly amusing way as they drift away from the top seven.
Jago Arrasate led Osasuna to the final of the Copa del Rey and finished seventh, qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League last season but they are now coasting towards the end of the season with no realistic chance of making the European spots this time around.
