THE PREDICTION
Villarreal’s midweek defeat against relegation threatened Alaves backed up a 5-1 win away to Levante last weekend. That inconsistency has been an issue for Unai Emery’s men in the second-half of the season as their main focus has switched to the Europa League knockouts in which they are facing Arsenal next week in the semi-finals. They come up against a Barcelona side who are on the back of a midweek encounter against Getafe as they look to push for the league title. The Catalans have been very impressive since the turn of the year and, given Villarreal’s general distraction, Barcelona will be favourites for this one.
