THE PREDICTION
This will be a tense one. Unai Emery’s Villarreal defeated Red Bull Salzburg 2-1 on Thursday night to progress into the Europa League Last 16 with a 4-1 aggregate victory over the Austrians. Their Liga form has been quite poor, though, since their enthralling 4-0 win at Celta in early-January. They are winless in their six Liga matches since then. They come up against an Atletico side who are in similarly poor form. A few weeks ago, the title was pretty much wrapped up. However, a couple of draws against Celta and Levante and then a defeat to Levante (as well as their Champions League Last 16 first leg defeat to Chelsea) has meant the mood and form of Atletico is worrying. Correct score bets are usually difficult but given the circumstances of both sides - a 0-0 looks like a strong possibility.
