Real Valladolid come into this on the back of five matches in which they have failed to score more than one goal in the game. A 1-1 draw at Celta, in which they conceded a very late equaliser, has continued their winless run. That run is now eight since their away win at Getafe. Getafe come into the game after a 3-0 home victory over Valencia. As ever, they collected a few yellow cards but, unusually for this season, they were effective as well. That win ended a run of five without a goal, four defeats and six without a win. Given both sides’ limitations in attack and fairly solid defences; under 2.5 goals seems likely.
