Real Sociedad’s point away to Real Madrid last Monday strengthened their hold on automatic qualification for the Europa League group stages next season but still a way off fourth placed Sevilla. They now have a clear run of fixtures between now and the end of the season at challenging for that spot following their defeat to Manchester United in Europe.
