THE PREDICTION
This one is arguably the biggest derby in Spain. Known as The Great Derby, it is perhaps the most ferocious and fierce in Spain as well as being one of the most aggressive in Europe. The lack of fans is desperately unfortunate. Betis come into this with boss Manuel Pellegrini under perpetual pressure. Sevilla come into this after an impressive 2-0 win over Villarreal which made it back-to-back wins and three wins in four since their defeat to Real Madrid in December. Sevilla’s remarkable consistency is what is obviously at odds to Betis. Julen Lopetegui’s men have won or lost by the scoreline 1-0 in eight of their 14 Liga matches. Sevilla should fancy themselves to control the game and sneak past Betis for the second time in the Andalusian derby post-lockdown.
