THE PREDICTION
It is becoming ridiculous. In fact, it has probably gone past ridiculous. Week in and week out, Huesca play well but do not get what they deserve. Even a change of manager in January hasn’t completely stopped that theme, although their results have still improved. A 1-1 draw at Eibar last weekend saw Huesca take a late lead only for them to throw it away about a minute later and then they had two golden chances to win the game again. They come up against a Celta side who did the opposite and managed to score a last minute goal to get a point at home to Real Valladolid. The Galicians are firmly in mid-table and probably won’t shift up or down from there. It is must win for Huesca and, surely, if they continue to play at their recent standard then they will win. It must be said, though, that the data (expected goals and expected points) would suggest Huesca are already overperforming.
