THE PREDICTION
Elche come into this on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to fellow relegation battlers Real Valladolid in midweek. A late Valladolid equaliser leaves the home team in a perilous position after back-to-back two-goal defeats against Huesca and Osasuna prior to that. Their opponents, Levante, were defeated 1-0 by title challenging Sevilla in another game in which their final 20 minutes were suggestive of a side that don’t have much to play for - and they don’t, in all fairness. Given that, the home team will be hoping to take advantage and give their fight against relegation a boost.
