THE PREDICTION
Elche’s defeat against Celta Vigo last weekend has now extended their winless run to 16 matches since mid-October. After a fairly promising start to the season following promotion, they have now slid to second-bottom. However, they do have two games in hand which could result in them going all the way up to 13th with both wins. They come up against an Eibar side just three points above their hosts this weekend. The visitors haven’t won in six matches now. Seven of Elche’s last ten have resulted in both teams scoring whilst nine of Eibar’s last 11 have also had that. Therefore, both teams to score seems reasonable.
