THE PREDICTION
The resurgence of Celta really is quite something. The Galicians, powered by their talisman Iago Aspas, have now won three straight games and they’ve done it very impressively. Signs were there as they lost 4-2 at Sevilla. However, an aggregate of 9-1 in their last three matches is beyond an expectation. It has lifted them from down the bottom of the league into the upper section of mid-table. Attacking talent of Aspas, Denis Suarez, Nolito and Santi Mina have begun to click. They are up against a defence first Alaves that have opened up a bit this season. Some enterprising games against Valencia and Real Sociedad which have resulted in draws have shown an evolution in their style. Their inconsistency is obvious, though. They became the first team to lose to Huesca last week just a fortnight after winning at Real Madrid. Celta will be confident they can inflict back-to-back defeats on Alaves.
