THE PREDICTION
All the momentum is with Barcelona coming into this edition of El Clasico as their form under Ronald Koeman has surprised many after the tumultuous off-season while Real have lost their last two. The losses at home to Cadiz last weekend and then to an injury-hit Shakhtar side in the Champions League have piled the pressure on Zinedine Zidane after a solid start to the season. They go to the Camp Nou needing to avoid defeat and the pressure is all on them here. Barcelona had a hiccup of their own against Getafe last weekend but they responded in style in midweek and the mood in the camp is reasonably good. Much will depend on how Real approach this game and the signs are that they will go somewhat defensive and potentially even add another midfielder for a forward and congest the middle of the park. They desperately need Sergio Ramos back for his leadership and if he does miss out, it is hard to make a case for them here. Their motivation will be high as it always is for this game and they will focus on keeping things tight first and foremost. Expect a cagey and low-scoring Clasico here and under 2.5 goals is appealing.
