Rangers’ 1-2 defeat at home to Celtic in last Sunday’s Old Firm derby looks to have sealed the Scottish Premiership title away this season but all they can do is try to win their remaining games. They lost 1-0 at Sporting Braga on Thursday evening for a reasonable target at home in the second leg of that Europa League quarter-final next week and it could be tempting for manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst to rest some key players ahead of that. St. Mirren are unlikely to cause too much fuss at home here with a 4-2 defeat at Motherwell last Saturday making it five defeats from their last six. European fatigue could set in for the visitors and backing them at draw no bet looks a suitably cautious pick here considering all the outside factors.
